This interactive, e-learning course was designed for colleagues to identify and explain the Hazardous Waste disposal process.
Tools Used: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Stock, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Whiteboard
Process: This course was an existing annual training delivered to pharmacy colleagues, including both new hires and current employees. After reviewing the previous version, I identified several opportunities for improvement. I began by refining the course objectives to ensure they were performance-focused and aligned with learner outcomes.
Once the analysis phase was complete, I moved into brainstorming and concept development. Using Microsoft Whiteboard, I captured my ideas using thumbnail sketches, color palettes, imagery concepts, and layout considerations. From there, I built a prototype to present to stakeholders. The sample slides showcased the same core content from the original course but redesigned to be more visually appealing, interactive, and engaging while maintaining a professional look and feel.
To support this, I used Adobe Stock and Adobe Illustrator for updated visuals, and I developed the course in Articulate Storyline. Within Storyline, I incorporated dynamic elements such as text fly-in and fly-out animations, motion paths for text and images, and interactive tabs that allowed learners to explore information at their own pace.
After reviewing the prototype, stakeholders were enthusiastic about the enhancements and eager to see the full course redesign come to life.
